Job description
Symmetrio is seeking a Sales Engineer for its client, a multinational medical device company. This individual will play a critical role in engaging with clients, demonstrating technical solutions, and guiding them through the migration process from on-premise systems to cloud-based infrastructures utilizing Azure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background paired with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
This is a remote position offering On-Target Earnings (OTE) in the range of $220,000 to $230,000, with approximately 25% travel expected.
Responsibilities
Partner with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales cycle, including pre-sales activities, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Collaborate with clients to understand their existing systems and pain points, offering tailored solutions to facilitate seamless migration to cloud-based platforms.
Develop and deliver technical presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value of cloud solutions to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
Provide hands-on technical guidance and troubleshooting during proof-of-concept trials and solution deployments.
Act as a liaison between the sales, engineering, and product management teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and addressed.
Continuously stay updated on advancements in Azure technology and cloud solutions relevant to the medical technology sector.
Monitor cloud performance, optimize costs, and ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices during migration projects.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Business, or a related field.
Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Azure services, networking, cloud security, and hybrid architectures.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in cloud pre-sales, solution architecture, or IT consulting, preferably in the healthcare sector.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with medical systems, clinical data management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
