Join our client as a Sales Manager for Shelving Solutions!
We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our client’s sales efforts for shelving products within the Chicago area. The ideal candidate should possess strong sales acumen, a passion for customer service, and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships.
Your role will involve understanding customer needs, providing tailored shelving solutions, and maximizing sales opportunities while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies that drive market share growth for shelving solutions.
Identify and engage potential customers across various sectors, including retail, industrial, and commercial.
Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor offerings.
Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up, ensuring a seamless purchasing experience.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and support materials.
Prepare regular sales reports and analyze performance data to inform strategy.
Attend trade shows and industry events to network and generate new business leads.
Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and collective goals.
Proven experience of 5+ years in sales, ideally in shelving solutions or related fields.
Previous experience in a management role is advantageous.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent customer service orientation with a passion for understanding client needs.
Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform sales strategies.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote setting.
Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
