- Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer urgent business questions

- Collaborate cross-functionally to define metrics, interpret data, and make recommendations

- Support the development of KPI frameworks across departments

- Assist in the development of experiment and A/B test design, with deep dive analytics to generate further understanding and recommendations, and ideation for next steps

- Document and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Work with the data team to ensure clean, reliable, and well-structured data sets

Learning & Growth Opportunities:

- Get mentorship and support from senior data team members

- Gain hands-on experience with predictive models, A/B testing, and machine learning methods

- Learn best practices in analytics engineering using tools like dbt and Airflow

- Participate in roadmap planning and scoping of advanced analytics projects

- Advance toward a Data Scientist role with clear development milestones

Technical Environment:

- Databases: Google BigQuery, Postgres

- Tooling: dbt Cloud, Airflow, Git

- BI Tool: Tableau

- Languages: SQL (required), Python (growing usage for modeling and automation)

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field

- Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large datasets

- Ability to create clean, intuitive dashboards and reports in Tableau (or similar tools)

- Comfort collaborating across teams and explaining findings to non-technical stakeholders

- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Python for data analysis or modeling (pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)

- Exposure to experimentation, predictive modeling, or segmentation techniques

- Familiarity with marketplace businesses or platform data

- Eagerness to grow into a Data Scientist role over time

Example Projects:

- Analyze liquidity in key metro areas to guide marketing and supply growth
