Over the years, our mission has expanded to include helping people with other forms of debt - such as refinancing credit cards, which are at all time highs in the US. And we’ve been able to refinance $6+ Billion in loans through our network of Splash, powered credit union and bank partners who leverage our marketplace and automated loan processing technology. ABOUT THE ROLE:
Customers are our lifeblood at Splash Financial which is why delivering great customer experiences is incredibly important to our success. We are looking for someone that is highly customer-focused, with a passion for elegant, simple solutions that “wow” our customers. You have a portfolio of products you have designed where you can impress us with how simple, intuitive and awesome they are to look at. You don’t get too attached to your ideas, because you are someone that thinks iteratively, you talk to customers, you look at data and feedback to determine if changes are required. You have worked in tight collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering to build great experiences. WHAT YOU’LL DO AT SPLASH:
- Understand user and business goals and seek to understand product market, competitors, opportunities, and challenges.
- Define information architecture, user journeys, and personas and be a strong advocate for UX.
- Deeply understand our users and pain points, deliver the design in customer insights based on research and usability sessions.
- Follow and apply design standards and best practices.
- Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and UX practices.
- Ability to quickly iterate designs based on feedback.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPLASH:
- Minimum 4-8 years of relevant design experience.
- Experience with UX Design Process.
- Experience in Design Thinking/ Human-Centered Design.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with prototyping design tools, such as Figma.
WHAT MAKES YOU STANDOUT:
- Experience in FinTech or Finance.
- Experience working with web and mobile.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations when designing for platforms.
- Comfortable with minimal direct supervision in dealing with complex issues.
COMPENSATION:
The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $175,000 annually, based on market data and internal compensation practices. This role may also be eligible for a bonus component tied to individual and company performance. Final compensation will be determined by factors such as location, experience, and skill level.
