Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for analyzing market trends, executing pricing strategy and solution packaging across all customer segments, and developing pricing models. It ensures that pricing is market-aligned, value-based, and tightly integrated with our go-to-market and revenue growth strategies.
This position reports to the Director of Product Marketing and partners with Product, Sales, and Finance to support and enable commercial teams with strategic pricing guidance. The work will directly impact win rates, deal velocity, and revenue generation.
Essential Functions:
Pricing Strategy
- Collects and reviews data related to customer demand, market trends, and product costs to develop pricing models.
- Develop, test, and refine pricing models (e.g., tiered, bundled, usage-based, enterprise) across product lines and services.
- Conduct competitive pricing analysis and market research to benchmark models and identify pricing opportunities or risks.
- Creates and manages pricing structures, including discounts, to support sales growth and profit margins.
- Communicates pricing strategies and recommendations to senior management.
- Partner with Product and Finance to align pricing strategy with business goals, roadmap, and margin targets.
Packaging & Commercialization
- Create and maintain clear packaging frameworks that align with buyer needs, use cases, and segment-specific value drivers.
- Define value propositions for each offering tier or bundle and collaborate with product marketing to articulate positioning.
- Support the development of ROI calculators, pricing tools, and other support materials to help justify value and defend pricing.
Sales & GTM Support
- Partner with Sales Enablement to train the field on pricing rationale, objection handling, and value selling.
- Serve as a strategic pricing advisor for key enterprise opportunities, partnering with sales leadership, legal, and finance as needed.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and customers.
- Identify and implement opportunities to simplify or scale pricing across customer types and geographies.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Track pricing performance through metrics like win/loss due to pricing, discounting trends, and margin analysis.

Required Abilities, Education, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in pricing strategy, product marketing, commercial operations, or financial planning.
- Proven track record of developing pricing models that align with revenue and margin goals.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to model financial impact and present scenarios to leadership.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills and comfort working with senior leadership.
Preferred Abilities, Education, and Skills:
- Experience in private equity–backed or high-growth environments.
- Experience in B2B technology, SaaS, or tech-enabled services strongly preferred.

An individual’s salary within this range is based on multiple factors including but not limited to skills, experiences, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational considerations.
