About the opportunity
Ontra is seeking a Strategy Manager, reporting to our Senior Director, Strategy to join its growing team!
In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our company’s future by driving the execution of key initiatives in collaboration with teams across the organization. You will tackle complex business problems, identify new avenues for growth, and communicate compelling insights to leadership.

What you’ll do:
- Strategic Analysis & Development: Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to identify growth opportunities, assess risks, and develop data-driven strategic recommendations.
- Strategic Execution: Lead strategic initiatives by owning key workstreams and driving execution in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
- Communication & Presentation: Prepare and deliver clear and concise presentations and reports summarizing key findings, insights, and recommendations for executive and cross-functional audiences.
- Problem-Solving & Innovation: Proactively analyze business challenges, identify and validate innovative opportunities for growth and improvement that drive strategic recommendations.
- Project Management & Collaboration: Independently manage strategic projects, working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives, while proactively identifying roadblocks and proposing solutions to leadership.
What you’ll bring:
- Required Experience: 4+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or a related analytical field.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to build financial models, analyze and synthesize complex data, and develop insights that inform strategic recommendations. Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel + PowerPoint) or G-Suite (Sheets + Slides) is essential.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize and articulate complex data clearly and persuasively for executive and cross-functional audiences.
- Results Orientation & Attention to Detail: A strong work ethic, a results-driven approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Business Acumen & Adaptability: A quick learner with strong business instincts, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Pay Transparency Ontra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below. Additionally, all positions are eligible for unit-based equity grants.
Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission or other variable compensation structures, which is not included in the below base pay range.

$145,800—$204,100 USD
