Our technology stack:
- The system management interface is written in React and is a Single Page Application.

About this opportunity:
We’re looking for a Python/Go Team Lead to improve our API Abuse prevention. This product provides comprehensive real-time protection against detrimental automated behaviors, including malicious bots, account takeover (ATO), credential stuffing, application layer (L7) DDoS attacks, and more.
Tech stack for this position: Python, Go, FastAPI, Celery, PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, Redis, Kubernetes, Docker
Responsibilities:
- Own the technical vision, ensure high-quality solutions and oversee the team’s successful delivery
- Drive key technical decisions, roadmap planning and tech debt management to align engineering efforts with business goals
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team of Backend, Frontend and QA engineers, fostering professional growth and collaboration
- Develop and enhance software using Python (70%) and Go (30%), designing scalable, high-performance solutions
- Contribute to open-source projects, such as GoTestWAF, fostering community engagement and collaboration
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration, gathering requirements, sharing knowledge and ensuring smooth project execution.
Requirements
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering (Python and Go) and microservice architecture;
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams;
- Broad experience in API development;
- Understanding of parallel and concurrent programming principles;
- Hands-on experience with high-loaded systems;
- Good knowledge of modern software architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity and/or hands-on experience with ML;
- Proven technical background in the security domain;
- Hands-on experience with API protocols: REST, GRPC and GraphQL;
- Experience in designing and implementing anti-abuse solutions would be a huge plus.
