Technical Coach

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Technical Coach to deliver quality trainings and coaching to our clients’ technical teams. You will develop technical training programs and help others develop skills and improve practices to make them better professionals.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a similar role and possess solid technical aptitudes along with expertise in best practices. Additionally, we expect you to be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex subjects in a clear and interesting way.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine course content according to objectives and requirements
  • Prepare training material (presentations, workshops, exercises etc.)
  • Produce training schedules and agendas
  • Facilitate training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
  • Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
  • Evaluate and analyse results of training programs
  • Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements
  • Propose, organise and participate in cross-team learning activities to promote knowledge sharing (communities of practice)
  • Mentor internal professionals

We are looking for someone, maybe you, with:

  • Proven experience as technical trainer and coach

  • Prior experience as a skilled developer applying best practices such as TDD, Extreme Programming, DDD, BDD and knowledgeable in Agile

  • Knowledge of modern training techniques and tools in technical subjects

  • Experience in designing technical course content

  • Ability to address training needs with complete courses

  • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds and stakeholder of different levels in the organisation

  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities

  • Experience championing ways of working transformations like adoption of specific technical practices, or architectural decisions.
