Weβre seeking a UX Designer to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria, on a full-time permanent basis. Youβll be responsible for creating user-friendly interfaces and designing seamless experiences across SAP BTP applications, collaborating closely with developers, functional consultants, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive and engaging SAP solutions.This is a hybrid role open to candidates anywhere in Australia, with occasional travel to customer sites during key project deliverables such as workshops or go-lives.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and functional consultants to define and refine user requirements for SAP BTP applications and extensions.
- Design intuitive, user-centric interfaces leveraging SAP Fiori design principles and SAP Build tools (e.g., Build Apps, Build Work Zone, Build Code).
- Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to validate design concepts with end users and project teams.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterative design reviews to ensure optimal user experience across SAP BTP solutions.
- Advocate for UX best practices, accessibility standards, and continuous improvement within agile project teams across the BTP landscape.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience designing user interfaces for SAP applications, ideally using SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, or SAP Build tools(e.g., Build Apps, Build Work Zone). Experience designing for External user portals (such as Supplier / Customer Portals) would be ideal.
- Strong understanding of human-centered design, design thinking, and enterprise UX principles within the SAP ecosystem.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, along with experience translating designs into functional UI specifications.
- Proficiency with MIRO and being able to plan and run stakeholder design sessions early in the system development life cycle.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and stakeholder workshops to gather insights and validate design decisions.
- Ability to work in agile delivery environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including developers, functional consultants, and business users.
