Job description
Huge is looking for a Vice President of Technology to join the Technology team in London, UK. In this role, you will provide strategic and tactical leadership for a portfolio of business and the global organization. You will contribute to business development, drive growth on teams, and oversee internal and global initiatives, ensuring that we not only grow our client base, but evolve our processes, people and teams. You’ll evangelize continuous learning of available technologies and process practices, experiment with new technologies and spread the word across the portfolio and the global scope.
What you’ll be doing.
- Strategic leadership: Guide technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs.
- Innovation and technology adoption: Stay updated on new and innovative technologies, offering valuable strategies through established and emerging solutions, including AI.
- Complex problem solving: Simplify complex problems and solutions for various roles and disciplines within internal teams and clients.
- Development lifecycle oversight: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the development lifecycle, presenting delivery proposals and serving as an effective escalation point.
- Business development: Identify new opportunities, propose innovative ideas and solutions, and understand financial implications to contribute to strategic planning.
- Delivery excellence: Support resource management and delivery efficiency, ensuring high-quality and timely project execution.
- Thought leadership: Provide thought leadership within the organization and the industry by sharing insights on technology trends, best practices, and innovative solutions. Publish articles, participate in speaking engagements, and represent Huge at industry conferences and events.
What we’d like to see.
- Technological expertise: Demonstrated ability to discuss and implement current and innovative technologies, with continuous learning and application.Significant experience implementing projects at scale with our platform partners across DXP and Commerce (Adobe, Salesforce, Optimizely, Sitecore, Contentful) is ideal.
- Ideation and partnership: A true partner to creative and business teams, generating and conceptualizing new ideas and bringing transformative ideas to reality.
- Client relationships: Track record of building and maintaining relationships with CMOs, CIOs, senior executive and manager roles, and technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Over 10 years of experience leading diverse and talented teams, transforming them into high-performing units.
- Thought leadership: Recognized for providing thought leadership in technology, evolving practices, and influencing industry standards.
