Position Summary

The Web Experience Manager plays a key role in supporting the development, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s websites. This position works cross-functionally with marketing, data, and external technology partners to ensure web content, performance, and infrastructure align with strategic goals. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Drupal, web technologies, and digital strategy, and is comfortable managing projects and driving results across teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and performance optimization of company websites
  • Support the implementation of web strategies in partnership with stakeholders and the VP of Data Strategy
  • Coordinate and maintain effective relationships with technology vendors, including Drupal development partners
  • Manage web development ticketing system and oversee resolution of issues and requests
  • Support web project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and delivery coordination
  • Collaborate with web team members to ensure timely and cohesive content delivery.
  • Monitor and report on website performance, user engagement, and conversion metrics
  • Assist with website budget tracking and cost monitoring for ongoing and future projects
  • Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and design trends that enhance user experience and site functionality

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Integrate Drupal with third-party APIs and systems
  • Manage and configure content types, views, and taxonomy using Drupal core and templating
  • Implement and maintain user roles, permissions, and workflows within the Drupal platform
  • Optimize site scalability, performance, and server-side security
  • Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to connect back-end functionality to user-facing elements
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues reported by internal stakeholders or users

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in web development, digital marketing, or a related role

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript
  • Experience maintaining Drupal websites, including security, UI/UX, and API integration
  • Familiarity with hosting platforms like Acquia or Pantheon
  • Experience with SEO/SEM principles and web optimization techniques
  • Understanding of web services and API integration
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Cloudflare) and BI/Analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Quicksight, PowerBI, Looker)

Pay Range:

  • $70,000 - $85,000
