We are an online resource and senior care advisory service. We connect families looking for senior care with expert advisors who offer personalized solutions. Founded in 2000 as a family business, we help hundreds of thousands of families each year navigate senior care options, including home care, independent living, memory care, assisted living, nursing homes, senior apartments, and residential care homes.

Our service is free for families. We are compensated by participating communities and home care agencies when a referred family chooses to move into a community or use an agency. Our national network includes over 14,000 senior living communities and more than 2,000 home care providers. With over 20 years of experience, we have helped over 2 million families and gathered over 300,000 consumer reviews. A Place for Mom is owned by private equity firms Silver Lake and General Atlantic.
