We are looking for a Financial Accountant at our Amsterdam HQ, 32-40 hours.
What our Financial Accountants do
- Take full ownership manage the end-to-end financial administration for specific entities – from invoice processing to reporting
- Keep our numbers clean and reliable prepare journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and support month-end close activities
- Support performance insights review P&Ls and contribute to accurate, timely reporting for our 80+ stores across 9 countries
- Be a trusted finance partner act as the go-to person for finance-related questions from stores and HQ teams
- Build strong relationships coordinate with vendors, reconcile statements, and resolve invoice queries
- Keep cash flowing smoothly assist with payment runs, process employee declarations, and reconcile bank transactions
- Improve how we work help optimise financial processes and reporting in a fast-growing, changing environment
- Support key moments contribute to ad hoc business cases and assist during the annual audit
You have
- Experience with fixed assets accounting; experience with Odoo ERP is a strong plus
- Strong VAT knowledge strong experience on VAT submission
- Educational foundation a solid accounting or finance degree (BSc or MSc level)
- Relevant experience 3–5 years of finance or accounting experience.
- The salary range for this role is €45,000 – €48,000 gross per year (incl.), based on 40-hours.
- Analytical skills strong analytical skills and confidence working with Excel formulas
- Solution-oriented mindset ability to adapt quickly when things change
- Ownership mindset comfort taking ownership and improvising when needed
- Languages fluency in English, both spoken and written
