Our vision is a Software as a Service to help digitalize the healthcare industry. We developed AlfaDocs, the first 100% all-in-one cloud platform for Patient Relationship & Practice Management.
We are looking for an experienced Head of HR & Administration(all genders) to lead our HR and Administration teams, currently consisting of 5 team members. The ideal candidate is someone who is capable of driving strategic initiatives while maintaining direct oversight of critical operational activities within their departments.

Responsibilities
Human Resources:
- Oversee and develop all HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and performance management across the organization
- Ensure the effective administration of payroll operations for Italy and Germany, setting standards and ensuring accuracy
- Management of employment contracts for Italy and Germany, establishing best practices and ensuring compliance
- Design and drive HR strategies that support and advance business goals and objectives
- Safeguard legal and policy compliance, proactively monitoring adherence to labor laws and internal regulations
- Champion initiatives focused on employee relations, engagement, and well-being, fostering a positive workplace culture
- Manage benefits administration and compensation strategies
- Lead the development and continuous improvement the training and development programs that promote leadership capability and employee growth
Administration:
Oversee and develop daily office operations, ensuring a productive and efficient work environment
Serve as a constructive sparring partner to our Teamlead Administration
Proven experience in a similar position in HR & Administration, preferably within a fast-growing company
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
Experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and performance management
In-depth knowledge of Italian labor law and GDPR
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Fluent in English and native-level Italian

Administrative Info
Hybrid-setting: you would need to come to our office in Milan (near Milano Certosa) on a weekly basis (3 days per week).
Contract: Every Alfa begins their journey with a fixed-term contract of 1 year with the aim of renewing to an indefinite term.
Equipment: laptop, phone, headphones, keyboard, mouse, and a dedicated office monitor.
Working hours: Monday - Friday | 09:00 - 18:00 | 1-hour lunch break
Start date: May 2026
Fixed salary: 45-55K
Variable salary: 15% of the fixed
