Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Programme Executive to join our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team in London for a 12-month fixed term contract. In this strategic role, you will oversee the delivery of complex, multi-regional programmes, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage programmes of significant scope and complexity across diverse geographical locations.

This role is being offered as a 12 month fixed-term contract and needs an asap starter. The role requires on-site presence in central London 2-3 times per week.

  • Lead the planning and execution of global programmes within the MSP environment, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and client requirements
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions to ensure effective programme delivery and stakeholder engagement
  • Establish and maintain robust programme governance frameworks, monitor performance against KPIs, timelines, and budgets, and provide regular updates to senior leadership and clients
  • Identify, assess, and manage programme risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as required
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive programme documentation, including business cases, schedules, resource plans, and status reports
  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction throughout the programme lifecycle
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party service providers to support programme delivery
  • Conduct regular appraisals of programme team performance and provide coaching to support professional development

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-regional programmes within an MSP or similar environment
  • Strong knowledge of programme management methodologies and best practices
  • Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management and client relationship building
  • Excellent organisational and time-keeping skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with experience in developing KPI dashboards and performance metrics
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across different time zones and cultures
  • Experience in budget management and financial forecasting

Additional Information

At AGS we operate a hybrid working policy – we recognise individuals want the flexibility of working from home but with the option to be in an office when needed. Our UK AGS office locations are Bracknell, London and Birmingham with client site locations across the UK. If you’re lucky enough to be within a commutable distance of one of our AGS collaborative offices, this will be your allocated work home but you’ll still have the piece of mind to flex your working week accordingly. On occasion some of our job adverts will state an in-office/on-site need but rest assured you’ll be with a wonderful team to work, develop and grow.
