LOCATION: Apply Digital is hybrid/remote-friendly. The preferred candidate should be based in Latin America, preferably working in hours that align to PT (Pacific Timezone) or ET (Eastern Timezone). Candidates located in Santiago, Chile are able to work out of our Santiago office as remote/hybrid employees. Candidates located outside of Santiago, Chile will be fully remote employees.

THE ROLE:

As a Product Designer, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality digital experiences by translating product requirements and user needs into clear, well-crafted interface designs. Working within the Experience team, you will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to create thoughtful, user-centered solutions that align with business goals and technical constraints. This role focuses heavily on high-fidelity UI design, visual consistency, and maintaining alignment with established design systems and brand guidelines. You will contribute across the design process, from ideation and wireframes to polished UI designs and clear developer handoffs. This role requires strong attention to detail, solid visual design skills, and the ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Execution

  • Create high-fidelity screen designs and prototypes that align with product goals, user needs, and brand guidelines

  • Translate product requirements into clear design solutions, including wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity interfaces

  • Ensure consistency and quality excellence across experiences by working within established design systems and component libraries

  • Prepare and deliver clear design specifications and handoffs for development teams

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers throughout the product lifecycle

  • Participate in agile ceremonies, design reviews, and sprint planning activities

  • Incorporate stakeholder feedback while maintaining strong design judgment and usability standards

  • Support cross-functional teams in solving design challenges and delivering high-quality outcomes

Design Practice & Growth

  • Contribute to maintaining and evolving design systems and shared design resources

  • Stay current with UX/UI best practices, tools, and emerging technologies

  • Leverage AI tools thoughtfully to improve efficiency, explore ideas, and enhance the design process

  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive design culture within the team

REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in product design, UI design, or UX design roles

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality UI design and attention to visual detail that connects to business objectives

  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools

  • Experience working with design systems and component-based design approaches

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with stakeholders and developers

  • Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints in design decisions

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering polished design work

NICE TO HAVE

  • Background in graphic/visual or visual design or communications

  • Experience working in agency, consultancy, or digital product environments

  • Motion design or interaction design experience

  • Background in user research and testing methodologies

  • Familiarity with front-end development principles and technical constraints
