Artefact Benelux in Utrecht is looking for an ambitious Senior AI Engineering Consultant to strengthen our Data Engineering team.
About the Role
As a Senior AI Engineering Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing robust solutions that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic architectures to solve real-world problems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Writing clean, readable, and reusable code while selecting the right technologies and coding methodologies based on business needs and tools.
- Integrating LLMs into broader systems using tools such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks, ensuring alignment with user intents and business objectives.
- Collaborating with consultants, data scientists, analysts, and engineers to identify client needs and design end-to-end data solutions that drive business value.
- Communicating clearly with stakeholders.
- Continuously refining your expertise and staying up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning, foundation models, and the evolving LLM ecosystem.
- Share your knowledge on AI best practices and fostering technical excellence.
What We Are Looking For
We’re seeking someone who has:
- Fluency in English (mandatory); Dutch or French is a plus.
- A Master’s degree in a technical field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent), applying AI to business problems.
- Excellent Python programming skills with a focus on production-grade code.
- Strong experience with SQL, pipelines, and databases.
- Hands-on experience with ML Ops and deploying models to production environments and leveraging GenAI to build product features or streamline development processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, Databricks, or AWS (Professional Certification is a plus).
- Great communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of modern AI frameworks
