About Aspen Skiing Company
We operate four mountains: Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, and Buttermilk. Our roots go back to 1946. We also own and run the Aspen Snowmass Ski & Snowboard School, Four Mountain Sports rental and retail shops, and our on-mountain restaurants. Aspen Snowmass has 5,680 acres of skiable terrain, over 40 ski lifts, and more than 410 trails. We offer lift tickets, lodging, and rentals, from slopeside lodges to full-service hotels.
Our recent additions include the 2023 opening of the Hero’s section on Aspen Mountain, which added 153 acres of skiing and riding terrain and a new high-speed quad. We work with our partner brands Aspen Hospitality (which includes The Little Nell and Limelight properties) and Aspen Collection (for experiences and retail). Our operations cover hospitality and events, ski and snowboard school, food and beverage, rentals, retail, management and professional services, mountain operations, and product sales.
