- Location: Remote, with regular travel to meet prospects, and attend trade shows and industry events
- OTE: $87k-$105k (Based on potential commission earnings)

The role
Assignar is hiring Business Development Representative to sit inside the Sales team and own the top of the funnel. The role reports to Trent McCreanor (VP of Sales) and works alongside Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, and Marketing.
What you’ll do day-to-day
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads using Assignar’s ICP scoring signals
- Run cold email cadences and cold calls that get replies
- Nurture warm prospects between meetings
- Take webinar attendees (Sharpen Your Toolbox, From Field to Forecast) through personalised follow-up
- Prep AE handoff briefs so every opportunity lands with full context
- Attend trade shows and industry events (CCF, association days)
- Feed Marketing what’s landing and what isn’t through the weekly BDR sync
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years in a B2B sales development role (SaaS preferred, construction or trades industry a bonus)
- A track record of hitting or beating quota
- Comfort with the modern sales stack: Salesforce, Salesloft, Clay
- Sharp written and verbal communication. The best BDRs at Assignar write emails that customers actually reply to.
- Organised, self-directed, and able to move fast in a supportive team environment.
