Founded in 2021 and based in Madison, Wisconsin, we provide virtual pediatric mental and behavioral health care. Our virtual care helps kids, teens, young adults, and their families.\n\nWe offer coaching, therapy, psychiatry, Virtual Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Psych Urgent Care, and neuropsychological testing, often available in a few days. Our model uses a data-driven platform and an evidence-based, collaborative approach. We work with pediatricians and primary care providers to offer complete support.\n\nOver 80% of our members report feeling better within 60 to 90 days, according to peer-reviewed results. We help ages 1 to 25 with a range of mental health concerns, from mild to severe.\n\nWe accept major health plans, including United Healthcare, Optum, Aetna, Cigna, and BlueCross BlueShield.

We started Bend Health to empower kids, teens, and families with the skills to build lifelong resilience, because we believe every child deserves this support.\n\nWe aim to change how mental health conditions are treated for kids and teens with a scalable, integrated care solution. Our approach focuses on increasing access, improving quality, and reducing the cost of mental health care. We also work to ensure that stigma, cost, and logistical challenges no longer prevent families from getting care.\n\nOur vision for whole family mental health starts with building resilience.

We have 201-500 employees. We were founded by Kurt and Monika Roots. Kurt has a background in data science, and Monika is a child and adolescent psychiatrist.\n\nOur founders have nearly twenty years of combined experience in technology and healthcare, with previous roles at companies like Oracle, Optum, UnitedHealth Group, and Teladoc Health.\n\nOur work environment is collaborative and data-driven. We are actively hiring coaches, therapists, and psychiatrists.
