The Role
At BeyondTrust, we believe learning and training should be engaging, interactive, and impactful. The eLearning Developer plays a key role in bringing this vision to life by designing and delivering innovative, effective, and visually compelling training solutions. This position collaborates closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create technical and functional eLearning courses that meet learner needs and business objectives. Leveraging instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and cutting-edge technologies, the eLearning Developer will craft multimedia-rich content, including eLearning modules, interactive simulations, videos, and assessments.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with SMEs to analyze learning objectives, define content requirements, and develop engaging, interactive eLearning courses aligned with organizational goals.
- Design and produce instructional materials, incorporating animations, graphics, audio, video, and other multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience.
- Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline), graphic design software, and video editing platforms to create polished, user-friendly training content.
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of training materials and processes.
- Explore and implement new eLearning technologies and methodologies to elevate training effectiveness.
- Organize, plan, and execute self-paced course creation and updates with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly through exceptional visual design and written content.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in eLearning development or a related field.
- Proven experience creating professional eLearning content, preferably for software products, using rapid development tools (strong preference for Articulate Storyline).
- Proficiency in basic video editing for educational purposes (e.g., Camtasia or similar tools).
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Strong time management, task prioritization, and organizational abilities.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for learning new skills and technologies.
- Commitment to upholding BeyondTrust’s core values.
Nice To Have
- Visual design experience (e.g., graphic design or UI/UX principles).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration or content integration.
- Simulation development expertise.
- Proficiency in producing AI-generated voiceovers.
- Technical training experience, particularly for software solutions.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite tools (e.g., Photoshop, Audition, After Effects, Premiere).
