We’re looking for a Merchant Operations Specialist to join our Food team in Lisbon at Bolt. In this role, you’ll play a key part in scaling and improving the country’s operations by reviewing current and establishing new partnerships.

As a Merchant Operations Specialist, you will have a direct and tangible impact on local Bolt Food operations that you can see in real-time.
You will be working closely with the Strategy and Operations Manager where your work will have a direct impact on the quality management process and driving growth through achieving operational milestones and key metrics.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Data analysis: Provide business and data analysis to cross line of business initiatives. Automate and standardize as many processes as you can in order to decrease operational costs and efficiency. Execution & Ownership: Take full ownership of initiatives from analysis to implementation, ensuring timely and high-quality execution. Translate strategy into actionable plans, drive hands-on delivery and ensure measurable impact on operational performance and business growth. Improving operations: Scale and improve country operations by reviewing current and defining new workflows. Solve problems including but not limited to, pricing optimization, fraud decrease, refunds optimization, timely delivery to bring savings and drive orders growth. Project Management: Help identify and work closely with other teams in order to resolve the most challenging issues in country operations. Manage local projects so they align with country and HQ requirements. Strategy and Ops Manager support: Support Strategy and Operations Manager in driving analysis and decision-making for strategic decisions. Team and Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration within local teams, central team and external partners to ensure seamless collaborations and delivery of projects and KPIs. Business Development: Scale and improve country operations by reviewing current and establishing new partnerships. Solve problems including but not limited to, finding right partners, creating value within defined framework and driving business growth.
1+ years’ experience in an analytical, consulting, customer success or operations role Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills Structured thinking with strong attention to detail Proactive, hands-on and eager to take ownership Strong execution mindset High sense of ownership and accountability High drive and resilient -
Fluency in both Portuguese and English
