We are looking for a Senior Global Commercial Manager to lead and scale our grocery vertical across Europe and Africa. Based at HQ, this role owns the global commercial strategy across Bolt Market and partnership business, with a strong focus on assortment strategy, supplier negotiations, commercial performance, and revenue growth.

As a Senior Global Commercial Manager, you will act as the central bridge between HQ and local markets, driving profitability, improving quality and operational standards, and enhancing customer experience. The role requires strong analytical thinking, cross-functional leadership, and hands-on execution to continuously optimize commercial performance and supplier engagement across all markets.
Own global category strategy & supplier negotiations: Define optimal assortment, lead key negotiations, and ensure competitive pricing and strong supplier partnerships. Drive revenue growth & commercial performance: Optimize pricing, promotions, ads sales, and marketing initiatives using data-driven decision-making. Lead cross-functional execution: Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Operations, Supply Chain, and local teams to ensure smooth campaign execution, inventory optimization, and conversion improvements. Build global frameworks & operational excellence: Develop SOPs, tools, and guidelines to standardize processes and improve commercial performance across markets. Lead and develop the team: Hire, coach, and set clear goals for Category Managers while strengthening supplier relationships through regular market engagement and travel.
5+ years of experience in Category Management, Purchasing, or Commercial roles within Retail, Q-Commerce, FMCG, or fast-paced environments. Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills across international markets. Advanced analytical and financial acumen, with strong Excel/Google Sheets capabilities. Proven ability to manage complex projects, implement processes, and operate effectively under pressure in a scaling environment. Fluent in English (additional local language is a plus) and willing to travel internationally up to 30%.
