Chandos Construction

We are an employee-owned national technical builder with over 750 employees, established in 1980. We have offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Red Deer, Kelowna, Vancouver, Ottawa, Toronto, and Chalk River, Canada. We specialize in construction management, Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), Lean construction, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), and Sustainability. Over 80% of our work uses collaborative methods.

We are known for our expertise in IPD, Lean construction, VDC, and Sustainability in Canada. Our services include general contracting and civil construction. Our civil division, launched in 2019, has completed over 110 projects. We use methods like Building Information Modelling (BIM), the Chandos Production System (CPS), Pull Planning, and Big Room. We became a Certified B Corporation in 2016.

Our projects include Alberta’s first LEED Silver project, the St. John’s Ambulance building; Alberta’s first net-zero commercial building, the Mosaic Centre; and the Advanced Nuclear Materials Research Centre (ANMRC) for CNL, delivered under a full IPD model.
