We founded Cinder in 2021 as a Trust and Safety operations platform. Our system helps organizations manage integrity operations and investigations, fighting internet abuse and keeping users safe. We offer tools for content moderation, AI safety, and data compliance to automate digital safety.

Our platform unifies data, teams, and technology in one workflow, helping with responsible AI, platform integrity, and data compliance. It quickly turns policies into enforcement actions, using AI automations backed by human judgment. We let you track, audit, and quality-check decisions without needing engineers. We integrate human and automated decisions for consistency, accuracy, and safety, especially for enterprises with large datasets.

We offer flexible schema, intuitive policies, and configurable automations. We support AI-enhanced workflows by combining human and automated processes to build, test, and manage complex operations, balancing AI speed with human judgment. The platform provides data for accountability, helping with human-in-the-loop AI, managing review teams, and preparing regulatory documents.

We centralize operations by integrating workflows for policy management, data labeling, and AI-backed automations into one system, improving efficiency. This lets you quickly adapt to new risks by building and deploying new policies, workflows, and queues without code. We also provide an API for Trust and Safety data, helping engineering teams develop detection models, interventions, and product features. You can integrate third-party AI tools, use custom models, or develop new models within our platform, with real-time data to benchmark AI performance and human labelers.

We designed Cinder for security, scalability, and flexible control. It’s SOC 2 Type II compliant, integrates with SSO providers like Okta, Azure AD, and OpenID, and offers customizable permissions. Our cloud-native platform encrypts data in transit and at rest, and includes built-in audit logs and usage analytics.

Our mission is to make online spaces safer for everyone. We want to give Trust and Safety teams the software they need to structure data correctly and provide intuitive tools for user protection and reputation management. We started Cinder because we saw how inefficient and costly workflows made it hard to stop harm quickly when building scalable Trust and Safety operations.
