▶︎ What will you do:
- Client Relationship & Strategic Advisory: Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for small-to-medium-sized businesses and multinational subsidiaries, managing key client relationships, overseeing service delivery, and providing strategic accounting and financial guidance.
- Accounting & Financial Reporting Oversight: Lead and oversee comprehensive accounting operations, including general ledger management, monthly/quarterly/year-end closing processes, financial statement preparation, and cross-border consolidation support. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial reporting.
- Tax Compliance & Advisory Coordination: Oversee and review corporate tax provisions, estimated tax payments, and federal/state tax filings, coordinating with internal and external tax specialists to ensure compliance and provide proactive tax-related guidance.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop teams of accounting professionals, including junior and senior staff. Oversee workload allocation, review deliverables, provide performance feedback, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous professional development.
- Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives: Identify and lead opportunities to enhance clients’ accounting operations, financial reporting processes, internal controls, and overall operational efficiency. Provide recommendations and implement scalable solutions aligned with clients’ business objectives.
- Engagement & Practice Management: Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring high-quality service delivery, effective resource allocation, adherence to deadlines, and overall client satisfaction. Contribute to client retention, relationship expansion, and business development initiatives.
▶︎ Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 6–10 years of progressive experience in accounting, tax compliance, and related business advisory or administrative services, preferably within a public accounting or professional services firm.
- Leadership & Client Management: Proven ability to lead and supervise accounting teams, manage multiple client engagements, oversee deliverables, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Comprehensive Accounting & Tax Expertise: Strong hands-on experience providing a broad range of accounting, tax compliance, financial reporting, and day-to-day business support services directly to clients.
