Job Description
The Company:
Cledara helps businesses take control of their software subscriptions by providing visibility of software spend, cutting excess costs, and streamlining administrative tasks. Our platform allows companies to focus on what matters most: growing their business.
With over 1,000 customers globally, we are recognized as a leader in the SaaS management space. We are proud to announce that in February 2026, G2 named Cledara one of the Best UK Software Companies. This prestigious recognition follows our success in the G2 Winter 2025 Report, where we earned 16 badges for SaaS Spend and SaaS Operations Management. Our high ratings for usability and customer relationships underscore our commitment to a powerful yet user-friendly product.
We are a product-led company with a clear vision and backed by tier-1 investors, including Notion Capital, Nauta Capital, Anthemis and CommerzVentures. We have a market-leading product with a proven track record and a collaborative team with a high-performance culture. We believe in working hard so we can learn quickly and get better.
The Role:
Join our Dev team and work closely with our Customer Support and Operations teams to build the internal tools and infrastructure that power Cledara behind the scenes. You’ll collaborate with a passionate team of engineers to improve back-office systems, automate operational workflows, and ensure the data pipelines that process invoices and map transactions run reliably at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Build Internal Tools
Develop and improve in-house tools and pipelines that empower our Customer Support & Operations team to work more efficiently. You’ll work alongside them to understand their daily workflows, identify bottlenecks, and build solutions that save them time and reduce repetitive work.
- Improve the Back Office
Enhance our existing back-office systems, making them more reliable, usable, and scalable as our customer base grows.
- Strengthen Operational Infrastructure
Work on core data processing pipelines like invoice ingestion, or merchant to provider mapping.
- Automate Manual Workflows
Partner with Customer Support & Operations to design and build data pipelines that streamline their day-to-day operations; from automating routine tasks to surfacing the right information at the right time.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally
Work directly with Customer Support and Operations to understand pain points and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Take Ownership
Lead initiatives from concept to deployment, driving quality and reliability across internal systems.
Our Tech Stack
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, ES7
- Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL
- Infrastructure: AWS (ECS, RDS, S3), Google Cloud (ETL), CI/CD with Terraform, GitHub Actions, testing with Playwright and Jest
- Workflows: Temporal for service orchestration
How We Work
We’re an agile, autonomous team that values collaboration, feedback, and fast iteration. You’ll participate in code reviews, work in small increments, and ship value early and often.
At Cledara, technology is at our core: everyone knows it, including our CEO and COO!
Where we work
We operate a hybrid model with flexibility. While we encourage team members to work from our vibrant Barcelona office a couple of times per week, remote work is also fine. The office includes collaborative spaces, an outdoor courtyard, and the occasional good coffee chat.
You’ll thrive in this role if you:

- Enjoy crafting elegant, maintainable software
- Are confident with Node.js and React
- Have experience with PostgreSQL and writing efficient queries
- Enjoy building tools that make other people’s work easier
- Care about reliability: you think about error handling, monitoring, and edge cases
- Value clear communication and enjoy working with non-technical stakeholders
- Stay curious about new technologies and enjoy learning
In addition to a competitive salary of €60k - €75k depending on experience, we provide the below benefits.
- Private medical insurance via Sanitas
- €100 monthly food allowance
- €500 annual training budget
- 23 days of annual leave, plus public holidays
- Access to ClassPass for fitness and wellness
- Apple MacBook and a great dev environment
- Regular team outings and company offsites (e.g., our unforgettable summer trip to Sitges)
- A modern, centrally located office with outdoor space and great coffee
