About the Role (your why)

We’re looking for a GTM & Commercial Manager to join our SaaS Growth & Revenue team. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution and commercial insight, helping shape how we take products to market and grow sustainably. You’ll work across the business to support and optimise our GTM programs, while contributing to the strategic initiatives that strengthen Datacom’s SaaS portfolio — with a particular focus on Datapay and Datascape.

Our offices are based in Auckland. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best!

What you’ll do

At the moment, as GTM & Commercial Manager, you will be focused on:

• Executing key initiatives that support Datacom’s SaaS go-to-market journey across Datapay and Datascape

• Providing commercial and GTM analysis to inform strategy and shape execution plans that meet or exceed business goals

• Working cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing and operational teams to deliver strategic and operational initiatives

• Supporting financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting across short- and long-term horizons

• Helping build disciplined, repeatable GTM approaches that improve execution, visibility and decision-making

• Implementing and maintaining a principle-driven health and safety culture that ensures employee wellbeing in line with Datacom policy

What you’ll bring

Required experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in software or SaaS sales, GTM execution, or commercial strategy roles

• Strong commercial acumen and a solid understanding of how growth initiatives translate into business outcomes

• Excellent analytical capability, with the ability to turn GTM data into clear, fact-based recommendations

• Strong program management and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills

Nice to have:

• Executive presence and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

• Experience identifying opportunities for improvement and driving operational efficiency

• A proactive, self-starting approach, with adaptability, sound judgement and strong attention to detail
