Job Description
PURPOSE:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our innovative team.
You will play a key role in operating and automating deployments within Telekom’s cloud infrastructures, including the Open Telekom Cloud (OTC) and Telekom Private Cloud (TPC/FCI). Your expertise will enable scalable, reliable, and efficient cloud operations that support our strategic digital initiatives.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
- Operate and automate deployments in cloud environments such as OTC and TPC/FCI.
- Leverage your knowledge of cloud technologies including Docker and Kubernetes to build and maintain scalable infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI to streamline software delivery.
- Automate scalable, repeatable processes through scripting in Shell, Python, or similar languages.
- Implement and manage monitoring solutions using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack to ensure system reliability.
- Proactively identify optimization possibilities and implement improvements for cloud operations.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux environments with a focus on performance and stability.
Qualifications
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
- Have hands-on experience working with the Open Telekom Cloud (OTC) or Telekom Private Cloud (TPC/FCI).
- Possess solid knowledge of cloud technologies like Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Are proficient in operating and automating cloud deployments, especially with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI.
- Have strong scripting skills for automation with Shell, Python, or equivalent languages.
- Have expertise in monitoring tools including Grafana, Prometheus, and the ELK Stack.
- Display a solution-oriented mindset and proactive approach to system improvements.
- Have very good knowledge of Linux environments, including administration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Communicate effectively in English, with German skills considered an advantage.

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2600€ /brutto.
