About this opportunity
We invite a skilled AI / ML Engineer to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll build and maintain AI-powered pipelines on GCP, creating scalable solutions for image analysis and metadata generation. You’ll work closely with the Lead AI/Data Architect to implement components, integrate APIs, and deliver production-ready AI solutions at scale.

Is that you?
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python and cloud-based ML/data pipelines
• Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Ability to write scalable, production-ready pipeline code
• Understanding of image processing, embeddings, and metadata systems
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD workflows
• Strong communication skills and flexibility to align with U.S. time zones
Desirable:
• Experience with Vertex AI and Google Gemini APIs, preferably Gemini 2.5 Pro
• Experience with Media & Entertainment workflows, media ingestion, and tagging standards
Key responsibilities and your contribution
In this role, you’ll build and maintain AI and data pipelines on GCP, implementing scalable solutions for image analysis and metadata generation.
• Implement image ingestion, preprocessing, and metadata extraction pipelines
• Integrate Gemini 2.5 Pro APIs for tagging and structured outputs
• Write efficient, scalable Python code for ML and data workflows
• Build and maintain services on GCP (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Vertex AI)
• Automate cataloging for large image datasets
• Optimize pipeline cost, performance, and throughput
• Implement testing, logging, monitoring, and CI/CD practices
• Deliver iterative, production-ready outputs in weekly sprints
