Here’s a summary of the role:
Step into a Senior Engineering role where autonomy isn’t just encouraged — it’s the way you work. You’ll shape meaningful solutions by designing and improving backend services and data pipelines that power real features used across the platform. You’ll bring a proactive mindset to dynamic projects while enjoying the stability of a corporate environment that supports experimentation, innovation, and modern engineering practices. Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
Build and refine backend services and data pipelines
Develop reliable Python workflows/services and relational database solutions for high‑quality data delivery.
Lead technical design for complex roadmap work -data collection, analytics and distribution
Improve reliability and scalability of AWS‑hosted services, from monitoring to performance tuning.
Drive engineering quality through clean architecture, testing standards, and thoughtful code reviews.
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
3+ years’ experience with Relational Databases
Experience working in an AWS cloud infrastructure
Experience with Python
You like to take charge of your work, stay one step ahead, and help your agile team stay sharp and effective.
You own your responsibilities, manage your workload confidently, and always act with honesty and integrity.
It would be great if you had these to, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with AWS CDK
Experience with Cursor/Claude Code/Copilot
Experience with MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Dynamo DB, Node JS, React, Typescript

If you are within a commuting distance to one of our Diligent office locations, you will be expected to work onsite at least 50% of the time.
