We were founded in 1889 and operate through independent agents. Our operations include ratemaking for commercial lines, underwriting support for new and renewal policies, managing agency distribution, and supporting our claims systems. Our corporate office is in Marietta, PA.

We have 501-1000 employees. We emphasize collaboration across teams like actuarial, underwriting, product development, analytics, marketing, payroll, and HRIS. We also focus on maintaining relationships with independent agents.
