We work to elect Democratic pro-choice women to office across the United States, from state and local positions to federal roles. We are the largest organization supporting women in politics.

Since our founding in 1985, our vision has been “Run. Win. Change the World.” We recruit and train candidates, support strong campaigns, research issues affecting women and families, run independent expenditure operations, and mobilize women voters.

We have raised $850 million and helped elect the country’s first woman vice president, 175 women to the House, 26 to the Senate, 20 governors, and over 1,500 women to state and local offices. More than 40% of the congressional candidates we’ve supported are women of color.

Our teams handle major gifts, events, digital outreach, and campaigns (including federal and gubernatorial races, and campaign communications). This includes building donor relationships, managing fundraising events, advising on campaign finance, and creating digital content and media strategies. We also offer internships to provide political experience and training.

We have between 51 and 200 employees. Some full-time roles are fully remote, while others operate on a hybrid schedule, typically requiring at least three days a week in our Washington, DC office. Internships also offer fully remote or hybrid options. Roles in events and campaign management often involve extensive travel and may require occasional evening or weekend work.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. Our internships are paid at $17.95 per hour and can be fully remote or hybrid. Many full-time positions also allow for remote work.
