EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, is searching for a Digital Coordinator to join our Digital team.
The Digital Department is responsible for engaging and growing the EMILYs List community, raising money online, supporting organizational messaging, and providing digital resources for EMILYs List candidates and campaigns. The department works closely with the Campaigns, Development, Communications, Research, and Operations teams to ensure our online program advances the organization’s fundraising, messaging, electoral, and organizational priorities.
The Digital Coordinator provides general coordination, production, and administrative support across the Digital Department. This position may support social media, digital fundraising, content production, website updates, email and SMS programs, graphics, video, reporting, project tracking, and other digital projects as assigned. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, a strong writer, and able to support a fast-moving digital program across multiple channels and priorities. This position has a broad scope of work; candidates with a variety of work experience and expertise are encouraged to apply. Willingness and ability to learn new tools and tactics is key.
Essential Job Functions
- Support digital projects across the department, including social media, digital fundraising, content, email, SMS, web, video, graphics, and other online programs;
- Draft, edit, proofread, schedule, and publish digital content across platforms;
- Assist with the production of digital fundraising and engagement materials;
- Monitor digital platforms, political news, candidate activity, and online trends to identify opportunities, risks, and content needs;
- Coordinate with Digital, Communications, Campaigns, Development, Research, and other departments to support timely execution of digital projects;
- Support project management and departmental coordination;
- Assist with performance tracking and other administrative needs for the digital program;
- Support onboarding, coordination, or project tracking for interns, vendors, or cross-departmental collaborators as needed;
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in digital, communications, campaigns, advocacy, fundraising, social media, nonprofit work, or a related field;
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to draft clearly and quickly for digital audiences;
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Familiarity with digital communications, online fundraising, social media, email, SMS, websites, or digital organizing;
- Comfort learning and using digital tools, including social media platforms, email or SMS platforms, CMS systems, design tools, project management tools, spreadsheets, or similar systems;
- Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, social media publishing platforms, CRM systems, or similar tools preferred;
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and work collaboratively across teams;
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support a range of digital work as organizational needs evolve;
- Willingness to work nontraditional hours, including nights and weekends as needed, with advance notice and in accordance with applicable policies;

The salary for this position is $63,000 and comes with a comprehensive benefits package. The starting pay for this position is equal to others at the same level throughout the organization.
This position is based in the DC office with a hybrid schedule requiring at least 3 days per week in the office.
