Business Process Analyst
Important Information

Responsibilities:
Business Analysis and Documentation
- Facilitate the end-to-end gathering of business requirements in alignment with project objectives.
- Conduct thorough analysis to translate business needs into a clear and actionable project scope.
- Collaborate with the Project Owner, Project Manager, and Solution Architect to translate business requirements into a target solution design and technical architecture.
- Assist the Project Manager in securing approvals for all business requirement documents.
- Review and provide sign-off on vendor documentation, such as System Definition Documents and UAT Test Scripts, for projects involving third-party providers.
- Assist in the technical evaluation of proposed solutions and vendors.
- Assess the impact of proposed project change requests on existing processes and system design
Quality Assurance and Project Support
- Provide input into the project planning process regarding scope, timeline, resources, risks, and challenges.
- Plan and coordinate the process design, solution, and test scenarios with internal or third-party technical teams.
- Collaborate with the project team and QA teams to ensure testing processes align with project requirements.
- Actively participate in UAT sessions and validate that project deliverables meet all business, functional, and technical specifications.
Business Process Analysis and Improvement
- Conduct business process assessments and provide recommendations to address identified business needs.
- Develop visual representations of business processes (e.g., BPMN, SIPOC, VSM, RACI) to map current and future state operational modes.
- Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on project lessons learned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or any related field.
- Possess proven experience as a Business Analyst within the software development sector.
- Be proficient in gathering requirements from end users.
- Show a strong aptitude to convert user requirements into functional specifications and user stories for developers.
- Capability to devise and implement test plans and test cases in accordance with user stories.
- Be proficient in communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Possess a detail-focused mindset with an emphasis on producing superior results.
- Be familiar with Agile methodologies and experience in Agile development environments.
