Producing sustainable wood pellets for renewable energy and industrial applications worldwide.

About Enviva

We started in 2004, producing sustainable wood pellets that replace fossil fuels. We make our pellets using practices that maintain and improve forest health while cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

We export our wood pellets through deep-water marine terminals to customers in the United Kingdom, the European Union, Japan, and other regions. Our pellets are used for power and heat generation, industrial processes (like steel, cement, lime, and chemicals), and in advanced biofuels and aviation fuels.

We operate plants and ports in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. We also have corporate offices in four countries and a global team of over 1,300 people. Our supply network primarily uses wood fiber from the U.S. Southeast.

Mission & Values

Our mission is to replace fossil fuels, grow more trees, and fight climate change. We aim for a renewable energy future.

We value respect, humility, and integrity, striving for positive outcomes for forests, people, communities, and the environment.

Team & Culture

Our global team includes over 1,300 employees. We are mission-driven problem solvers, innovators, and entrepreneurs, dedicated to our work and always looking for ways to improve.

We empower our associates and support their career growth through education, hands-on experience, and new opportunities. Our management team brings global experience in renewable energy, finance, manufacturing, and operations.

We cultivate a culture that puts our people first and aims to make a positive global impact. Some of our roles operate on a hybrid work model.
