Job Description
Join our dynamic team at EUROPEAN DYNAMICS as a Financial Operations Controller and play a crucial role in overseeing the financial and operational activities of multiple entities of the Group. Working along with a team, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial information, managing accounting systems and acting as a link between finance, operations and other departments of the Group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and maintaining accounting systems and records;
- Monitoring month-end and year-end closing processes;
- Preparing financial statements, forecasts and performance reports;
- Liaising with external auditors for the finalization of the annual statutory audits;
- Supporting and reviewing most aspects of accounting management (invoicing, journal entries, account reconciliation, reporting etc.);
- Monitoring the day-to-day management of multiple entities of the group;
- Handling communication with clients, partners and other stakeholders;
- Participating in business development activities and setting up new entities;
- Oversee the payroll preparation for the entities of the group worldwide;
- Participation in the finance transformation projects;
Desired skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field;
- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience – ideally in a multinational environment; Prior experience in an IT company will be considered as an asset;
- Excellent command of English both written and oral; Second language will be considered as an asset;
- Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations; Accountant’s Class A Certificattion will be considered as an asset;
- Solid knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. Navision, SAP etc) 7-10 years of relevant professional experience;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
