Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Technical Business Analyst – Enterprise BI Reporting fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely (within EU). The consultant will be in the Business Intelligence unit for the analysis and design of the new organizational office reporting system. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.
Your tasks
Assessing customer needs to define enterprise KPIs and determining the technical feasibility of data sources and system architecture;
Drafting low-level technical design documents, including Data Dictionaries, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), and specific logic for calculation methodologies;
Translating abstract business metrics into robust technical logic to ensure accurate aggregation and performance across organizational levels;
Creating and editing visual content including maps, charts, and graphs;
Designing intuitive interfaces and optimizing report performance for high-volume data sets to ensure a responsive end-user environment;
Providing user and technical application documentation.
University degree in combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 7 years;
At least 5 years of experience in Technical Business Analysis, specifically focused on the technical design and architecture of enterprise-scale reporting systems;
At least 3 years of technical expertise in Microsoft Power BI, utilizing both DAX calculations and Power Query for data transformation;
Experience in creating dynamic reporting systems, leveraging visual interactivity and bookmarks to deliver an application-like user experience for enterprise KPI tracking;
Experience defining the technical requirements for the full data pipeline—from source system extraction to the final reporting layer—ensuring data integrity across the environment;
Proven ability to translate abstract business KPIs into technical logic, defining the specific data schemas, calculation methodologies, and aggregation rules required for the system;
Expertise in creating high-level and low-level technical design documents, including Data Dictionary definitions, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), and system interface specifications;
UI/UX for Data: Strong technical knowledge of visualization design, including interaction design and performance optimization for heavy-data reports;
Excellent command of the English language.
