The Elevator Pitch
Are you energized by fast-paced operations, high-stakes events, and leading teams in the field? Evolv is seeking a Sr. Event Operations Manager to own the end-to-end planning, execution, and operational performance of our Evolv Express and eXpedite systems used for sporting events, conferences, and special events. You will lead dispersed operational teams, manage a mobile fleet of systems, and ensure flawless execution across events ranging from small strategic engagements to globally visible sports competitions.
What are performance outcomes over the first 12 months you will work toward completing?
Within 30 Days
Develop deep understanding of Evolv product capabilities, site survey and product readiness workflows, and deployment standards
Build relationships with Operations, Technical Sales & Solutions, Logistics, Sales, Service & Support teams
Shadow deployments to learn workflows and customer engagement.
Begin major event planning review
Review SOPs and identify gaps
Required Training & Certifications:
Evolv Product Proficiency & Internal Certifications
ICS-100 / FEMA Incident Command System Basics
Inventory & Asset Management Training
Logistics & Chain-of-Custody Training
Within 3 Months
Independently lead short term deployments end-to-end
Own scheduling and resource planning
Establish operational standards for logistics and readiness
Launch standardized AAR process
Build scalable workflows and training materials
Conduct site assessments and manage customer coordination
By 12 Months
Successfully execute 1 major national event
Execute 20 different events across the U.S.
Lead matrixed/temporary event staff across multiple cities
Build scalable rental operations model
Implement full lifecycle deployment → AAR → readiness
The Work: What type of work will you be doing?
Deployment & Execution Management
- Lead planning, coordination, and field execution of short term events.
- Build schedules, resource plans, and deployment playbooks.
- Ensure systems are installed and operated to Evolv standards.
Fleet & Logistics Oversight
- Manage system movement, tracking, and readiness.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, maintenance, and updates.
Operational Expertise
- Maintain deep technical knowledge of Evolv systems.
- Provide troubleshooting and field support.
- Refine workflows using performance data.
Customer & Event Coordination
- Serve as operational lead for high-visibility deployments.
- Partner with venue leadership, security, and Evolv teams.
- Ensure post-event teardown, reporting, and system reset.
Major Event Leadership
- Lead pre-event planning and site assessments.
- Oversee onsite setup, testing, and daily operations.
- Manage teams; ensure compliance and rapid issue resolution.
- Deliver post-event reporting and insights.
Process Development & Scalability
- Build SOPs, checklists, and training materials.
- Standardize AAR processes.
- Partner with refurbishment teams on equipment workflows.
What do you bring to Evolv?
5+ years in operations, logistics, or field deployment
Experience leading dispersed or temporary teams
Expertise training teams on technical systems
Strong security/operational planning knowledge
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Flexibility, as the role requires ~50% travel

This role reports to the Senior Director, Strategic Growth Initiatives and will lead matrixed/temporary event staff, not full-time direct reports.

Where is the role located? Will I need to travel?
This role can be fully remote with travel to Evolv HQ once per quarter. The role requires frequent travel to deployments and events, up to 50%.
Compensation and Transparency Statement
The base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000- $178,000. In addition to base salary, this role offers a competitive target bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. This range reflects our commitment to pay transparency and equity, in alignment with applicable state laws. Our compensation ranges are determined based on factors such as role, level, location, market benchmarks, and internal equity. The posted range represents the good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role across U.S. locations. Actual compensation within the range will be based on the candidate’s skills, experience, education, and geographic location.
