Meet the Team

Business Development

At Fever, our Business Development team is both the face of Fever in the market and the voice of the market within Fever. Sitting at the core of our platform, they connect the world’s best experiences with the largest audiences, helping the live entertainment industry grow and evolve.

Our team builds trusted, long-term partnerships with leading brands across the ecosystem. We work closely with creators, producers, agencies, and cultural leaders to help them make data-driven decisions, expand their portfolios, and scale internationally. In doing so, we play a key role in shaping the future of the entertainment landscape.

This role goes far beyond relationship management. It requires strong strategic thinking and problem-solving across a wide range of topics, from marketing and pricing to operations and financing. The most successful team members take full ownership of their partners’ success, acting as true partners and advisors at every stage of growth.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Business Development works hand-in-hand with Marketing, Category Management, Partner Support, Operations, Tech, Product, and Finance to ensure every experience on our platform reaches its full potential.

What You’ll Do

  • Own your deals end-to-end: from sourcing and pitching to contract negotiation, launch, and partner growth
  • Create and cultivate deep business relationships with the biggest producers, creators, venues and key stakeholders in the entertainment industry
  • Expertly manage contract negotiations with large partners ensuring sustainable economics and long lasting value for both parties
  • Contribute to Fever’s growth strategy for Japan, working directly with senior leadership in one of our fastest-growing markets
  • Evidence strong organizational skills to effectively balance and grow a large base of clients
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional stakeholders to successfully deliver on partner growth across Japan and internationally
  • Keep up to date with everything cool that’s happening in entertainment; think of yourself as the expert for new and trending experiences

Who you are:

  • 3+ years track record of success in sales or business development in a fast-paced environment (e.g. ticketing, entertainment, media, hospitality, or tech sales); consulting or partnerships experience also welcome
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in Japanese and English, along with strong attention to detail
  • Strong desire to bring on new businesses as well as grow and manage an existing book of business
  • Self-starter mentality with an ability to work in a demanding, dynamic start-up environment
  • Demonstrated data-driven approach to business and task prioritization
  • Comfort in working with Microsoft Office, Google docs, and a Sales CRM (Salesforce is preferred)
  • Knowledge of Japan’s entertainment, events, and lifestyle trends
  • Experience in the event, entertainment, or media industry is a plus but not required
