Our mission is to help the service delivery industry do great work, and we live that mission by doing great work for the companies and service professionals who depend on us.
Why is this role important to Field Nation?
The Sales Development Specialist Lead is a foundational hire responsible for helping establish and scale Field Nation’s sales development function in Bangladesh. As the first sales development hire in the region, this role will serve as the first point of contact for prospects entering the Field Nation ecosystem and is critical to ensuring a seamless, high-quality prospect experience.
This is a highly sales-driven, communication-intensive role requiring hands-on experience engaging US buyers through phone, video, and other inbound conversational channels. The initial focus will be executing inbound qualification with consistency and quality, while helping operationalize and scale a proven sales development model in Bangladesh.
This individual will play a key role in applying established best practices, structured qualification methods, and repeatable processes to serve as the standard for future team members. Over time, this role has the opportunity to grow into a leadership position as the Bangladesh sales development function expands.
This role is essential to maximizing the conversion of inbound demand, generating new pipeline, and establishing a structured, high-performing sales development model aligned with our US-based team.
What you’ll do:
Inbound Qualification and Engagement:
Conduct effective discovery calls (phone and video) to qualify prospective buyers based on business need, urgency, and fit
Act as the first point of contact for inbound leads from marketing and other channels, responding to inquiries with speed, curiosity, and clarity to maximize conversion and ensure a positive prospect experience
Engage decision-makers and influencers through phone and video-based sales conversations
Clearly articulate Field Nation’s marketplace model and value proposition
Handle buyer objections with confidence and professionalism while maintaining control of the conversation
Route qualified opportunities to account executives with clear context and next steps
Maintain accurate and timely activity tracking, notes, and lead statuses in Salesforce and other sales tools
Establish Sales Development Function in Bangladesh:
Help establish the foundational structure for the sales development function in Bangladesh, including core workflows and operating standards
Apply and operationalize structured qualification and call best practices established by US-leadership, ensuring consistency and scalability for future team members
Identify gaps in process execution and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and conversion
Provide insights from prospect conversations to continuously improve messaging and qualification effectiveness
Partner closely with US-based Sales and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging, lead routing, and buyer engagement
Support onboarding and mentoring of future hires while setting the performance and cultural standard for the team
Outbound Prospecting (Future Opportunity)
Apply prior outbound prospecting experience to execute against established messaging and campaigns when outbound is introduced
Follow structured outreach sequences and playbooks developed in partnership with US-based teams
Share insights from prospect interactions to help improve the effectiveness of campaigns
Opportunity to expand into outbound prospecting responsibilities as the role and team evolve
You might be a good fit if you have:
4-6 years experience in sales development, inside sales, or business development roles supporting USA/UK/Australian companies.
Strong understanding of B2B sales fundamentals and qualification best practices
Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and cold calling, with the ability to articulate performance and results
Experience running structured qualification or discovery calls independently (phone and video)
Experience working within defined sales processes, playbooks, and qualification frameworks
Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced team members preferred
Familiarity with US sales culture and buyer expectations.
Excellent communication, active listening, and objective handling skills
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation, and sales productivity tools (e.g., Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
Curiosity and a self-starter mindset—you’re not afraid to dive into new verticals or conversations. You’ll pick up the phone and make the call.
Ability to operate effectively in a new and evolving function across time zones with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
