About the Role
Figure is growing, and our Markets Engineering team is expanding to meet that demand. We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer who is a technical leader capable of taking ownership of complex, high-impact initiatives from inception to delivery with minimal oversight. You’ll set the standard for engineering quality on our team, drive architectural decisions, and help define how we build and scale customer-facing applications for crypto and blockchain-native financial products. You’ll have the opportunity to shape trading and exchange technology at scale, working closely with cross-functional partners while serving as a force multiplier for the engineers around you.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and delivery of complex, high-impact features in our React web applications, from technical scoping through production
- Take end-to-end ownership of projects by defining technical approach, managing execution, and driving them to completion independently
- Establish and uphold engineering standards through code reviews, architectural guidance, and hands-on mentorship of junior and mid-level engineers
- Partner with product managers and designers as a technical decision-maker, influencing product direction and advocating for engineering best practices
- Identify and drive improvements to tooling, testing, documentation, and performance
What We Look For
- 5+ years of engineering experience, with a track record of delivering complex frontend projects end-to-end
- Deep proficiency in HTML, CSS, React, and TypeScript
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision
- Experience making architectural decisions and setting technical standards on a team
- Strong understanding of responsive design, mobile-first development, and accessible application patterns
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience mentoring engineers and elevating team capabilities
- Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
Salary
- Compensation Range: $119,680 - $149,600/yr
- 25% annual bonus target, paid quarterly
- Company equity in the form of RSUs
- This is the compensation range for the United States, actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience, location, or evolving business needs
