FleishmanHillard San Francisco, a global integrated communications agency is looking for an Assistant Account Executive to join its growing Corporate Affairs Practice. This position will work with our clients on integrated programs encompassing earned media, executive and employee communications, messaging and monitoring, research, and event planning. Our expertise and clients span across energy, financial services, gaming, technology and more; this role will have an emphasis on helping our corporate affairs clients and FH teams with daily needs.

Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day activities for our corporate affairs clients and FH teams to execute communications programs that embrace all areas of corporate communications, including leadership storytelling, traditional, social and new media, executive and employee communications, and crisis/issues management.
- Build and maintain media lists. Help with media monitoring, tracking and reporting processes across accounts.
- Pitch media and foster relationships with a variety of reporters.
- Draft content for a range of internal and external audiences, press releases, memos, research, and media materials.
- Assist with client services support, including meeting agendas, billing assistance, and project coordination.
Qualifications:
- Six months to 1 year of experience in a communications-focused role with an emphasis on communications and public relations. Experience working in corporate affairs is a plus.
- Attention to detail, including deadlines, is a must.
- Strong writing capabilities.
- Openness to feedback and learning.
- General understanding or willingness to learn the format of various types of content for corporate communications.
- Multitasker, self-starter, proactive, problem solver, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

The anticipated salary range for the Assistant Account Executive level $58,000-67,000.
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off and/or other benefits also are available.
