As a Senior Web Developer at Formlabs, you’ll join a small, dynamic team of developers within the Marketing department. You’ll work on building and maintaining our global websites — including our e-commerce platform, support hub, and marketing pages — across multiple languages. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of web technology, design, and business impact.
The Job:
- Develop and maintain our core marketing, e-commerce, and support websites
- Work across the stack with Python, Django, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, GraphQL API
- Improve and support of developing user-facing front-end code using React
- Close collaboration with frontend developers, product and design teams to develop compelling and consistent web user experiences
- Development of the headless CMS backend code
- Ensure our websites are accessible, fast, secure, and scalable across 5+ languages
- Continuously improve our web platform with automation, code optimization, and testing
You:
- You are a proven web developer
- You can build and ship web applications in a production environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders alike
- Experience coding in Python and frameworks, such as Django and FastAPI
- You are familiar with React and Typescript
- You are able to create and improve CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins
- Write clear code, document your work and provide high-quality code reviews
Bonus Skills:
- Passion for 3D printing and emerging technologies
- Understanding of k8s and you are familiar with at least one cloud provider
- Experience in a fast-growing startup environment
- Understanding of SEO, accessibility, and performance optimization
