The Associate, IT Business Tech role is an entry-to-mid level position responsible for supporting the IT Business Partner (ITBP) in aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. This role assists in coordinating projects, gathering requirements, analyzing business needs, tracking initiatives, and facilitating communication between business stakeholders and IT teams.
The Associate acts as an operational and analytical extension of the ITBP, ensuring smooth execution of IT initiatives and maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration.
This role will be based in our Jersey City, NJ office on a hybrid basis.
What You Will Do:
1. Business & Stakeholder Support
Assist the IT Business Partner in managing relationships with assigned business units.
Participate in stakeholder meetings and document key discussions, risks, and action items.
Support communication between business users and IT delivery teams.
Help prioritize incoming requests and ensure proper documentation.
2. Requirements & Analysis
Gather and document business requirements.
Conduct process analysis and identify opportunities for improvement.
Translate business needs into structured functional documentation.
Support preparation of business cases and impact assessments.
3. Project & Initiative Coordination
Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Assist in preparing status reports and dashboards.
Coordinate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) activities.
Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies.
4. Operational Support
Support intake and triage of new IT initiatives.
Maintain documentation repositories and knowledge bases.
Assist in vendor coordination where applicable.
Support change management and communication activities.
5. Reporting & Governance
Prepare presentations and reporting materials for leadership.
Support governance forums by organizing documentation and minutes.
Track KPIs related to IT initiatives and service performance.
What You Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in IT, business analysis, consulting, or project coordination.
Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
Exposure to IT project lifecycle and delivery methodologies.
Experience working with cross-functional teams preferred.
Basic understanding of IT systems and enterprise applications.
Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, or hybrid delivery models.
Strong documentation and requirements gathering skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The base salary range for this role is listed below and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.
Base Salary Range
$95,000—$110,000 USD
