SmartBrief, a division of Future, is a digital media publisher of targeted business news and information by industry.

As a Digital Sales Associate, you will identify and engage prospective advertising clients. Working with a collaborative sales team, you’ll conduct research, lead outreach efforts, and help build relationships with both Fortune 500 companies and startups.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to launch a career in digital media, advertising, or sales. You’ll gain hands-on experience, develop industry expertise, and build a foundation for career advancement.

What You’ll Do

You will report to the Publisher

  • Research and identify prospective advertising clients across important industries
  • Develop and deliver compelling outreach messaging across email and other channels
  • Schedule and support discovery and marketing meetings with potential clients
  • Manage and qualify inbound marketing leads
  • Help create marketing collateral and sales materials
  • Help develop client proposals and advertising campaign strategies
  • Prepare competitive analyses and business intelligence reports
  • Grow the customer database (CRM) with accurate, up-to-date information
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and editorial teams

Experience That Will Put You Ahead Of The Curve

  • Bachelor’s degree with a great academic record
  • Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects
  • Interest in media, publishing, advertising, or digital marketing
  • Experience maintaining clean records of sales outreach and contacts in a CRM
  • Proficiency in business software tools
