Hello! We are GoFasti, a Talent-as-a-Service. GoFasti bridges the gap between world-class developers and designers from LatAm and first-class companies around the globe.
We need an English-fluent Mid-level Software Engineer based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces changes while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested and proactive person, who’s constantly learning and improving their skills.
Are you the one we are looking for?
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain core product features using Next.js
- Implement and manage data models, real-time data flows, and integrations using Firebase / Firestore
- Configure and maintain authentication, authorization, and access controls
- Develop serverless logic and backend workflows using Firebase Functions as needed
- Ship features incrementally with guidance from senior engineers and product leadership
- Collaborate closely with product and leadership teams to translate requirements into production-ready solutions
- Maintain code quality, performance, and reliability in a production environment
Requirements:
- Hands-on production experience with Next.js
- Practical experience with Firebase / Firestore, including authentication, security rules, and cloud functions
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and deliver within defined timelines
- Solid understanding of modern JavaScript/TypeScript and web application best practices
- Experience with service-based or serverless architectures is a plus
- Familiarity with real-time applications and scalable cloud-based systems is a plus
- Experience working in fast-paced startup or high-ownership environments is a plus
Compensation:
- The Salary range offered for this position varies from (USD) $3,000 - $4,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
- This position is for an independent contractor, through a payroll platform.
- This position has an initial trial period of three months, with the possibility of extending based on performance.
- The talent will work REMOTELY allocated at our client.
