Job description
Location: Remote Philippines. This role can be performed anywhere from the Philippines.
The Role
GoPro is seeking a top-tier candidate to take on the responsibilities of an Accounts Receivable Specialist. This position is a critical member of the accounting team, with responsibilities that will focus on handling all elements of the Accounts Receivable team’s responsibilities, including, but not limited to, month end close, account reconciliations and analyses, preparation of audit support, and preparation of monthly financial statements.
What You Will Do
- Manage webstore and subscription related transactions including applying payments, analysis, payment review and deposits.
- Responsible for processing of worldwide webstore credits, including, but not limited to credits related to tax, reshipments, returns and refunds.
- Responsible for responding to internal and external e-mails for inquiries and requests.
- Support the accounts receivable team responsibilities related to retail customers, including but not limited to processing credits.
- Assist in providing requested support to external auditors.
- Assist the AR team with adhoc research and reporting.
Skills We’re Excited About
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent major
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, including the ability to research issues, prepare evaluations on problems and recommend solutions
- Effectively and proactively collaborate with others and establish trust, credibility, and confidence
Bonus Points For
- NetSuite, Blackline and Adyen experience is a plus
