Job Description
Location: Shenzhen: Flexible - This role requires proximity to an office location with the flexibility to work from home.
The Staff Test Engineer will take charge of camera image quality test at manufacturing environment in our Contract Manufacturers.
Responsibilities:
- Familiar with Optical testing and Image Quality testing
- Master 3C product manufacturing testing, automation and CNC process.
- Review automation design include Mechanical and Electronic, lead proposal evaluate as well DFM review process with supplier for the modification and optimization including hardware and software.
- Lead system bring up and qualification data review, include (but not limited) for GRR and correlation and security data, able to analyze the raw data with management tool.
- Host meeting to update the project progress .
- Debug and solve issues together with vendor and CM, provide tool qualification decision-making for vendor.
- Basic acknowledge onC++, C#/Python, maintain test SW.
- Travel between tool supplier and contract manufacturer in China and out of China
Skills We’re Excited About
- S. or M.S. in Opitcal engineering and Manufacturing Testing.
- 8+ years of industry experience directly in production environments.
- Experienced in electronic product assemble and test process, leading activities on functional and Optical testing are compliant with test plan.
- In-depth knowledge of Optical, assembly, testing process, knowledge of Robotic system, computer control, ARM control, vision control is plus.
- Ability to think quickly, react and respond to production-constraining issues.
- Well know of the process integration and optimization to make the manufacture process more flexible between similar product.
- Oriented in lean manufacture with automation introduction and cost reduction.
- Experience in camera automation test is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Business Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
