Your Mission:
Operational support (day-to-day)
- Create, review, and update purchase orders (POs)
- Adjust delivery dates in the ERP and proactively align with suppliers
- Track delivery status, monitor backorders/partial shipments, and escalate deviations
- Maintain master data (prices, lead times, item/supplier data) and documentation
- Support the resolution of invoice vs. goods-receipt discrepancies (3-way match)
Negotiation & decision preparation
- Run RFQs, perform price comparisons, and support TCO/benchmark analyses and savings tracking
- Research suppliers, prepare clean datasets, and create negotiation/decision briefs
- Deliver structured dossiers for Operational Buyers and Category Leads
Professionalization & digitalization (choose your focus)
Process Management
- Capture and model procurement processes (e.g., BPMN)
- Draft SOPs and checklists, contribute to governance
Data Analytics
- Build dashboards (e.g., Power BI) and define KPIs (OTD, PPV, MOQ, Lead Times)
- Improve data quality and enable decision-making with clear visuals
Process Automation
- Prototype RPA/low-code solutions (e.g., Power Automate)
- Automate recurring reports and workflows to reduce manual effort
Communication & Change
- Create training assets, internal comms packages, and onboarding guides
- Support change initiatives and ensure process adoption
What you bring:
Enrolled Bachelor’s/Master’s student in Business, Industrial Engineering, (Business) Informatics, Supply Chain Management or similar
A structured, reliable way of working with a strong sense of ownership
Confident in Microsoft Office; first ERP experience (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle) is a plus
Bonus skills (nice-to-have): Power BI/Tableau, SQL/ETL basics, BPMN, RPA/low-code (Power Automate/UiPath)
Strong communication in German (min. B2) and English (business-fluent)
Availability 15–20 hours/week for at least 6 months, 12 months preferred
